Happy Birthday today to the most wonderful & "Perfect" Grammy ever! We love you so much! This family wouldn't be the same without you! You are the truest example that we all wish to become. Smile big today... Poppy's giving you lots of hugs & kisses on your special day!My mom & Aunt Tony planned a surprise 80th Birthday party for our special Grammy that we had on Saturday night. There were a total of 80 people there & that was just family!! When Grammy & Poppy got married there one wish was to have a very large, close family. That wish & desire came true & most of us were there to show it that night. Grammy's sister Aunt Sis was the one who picked her up from her house that night. She was thinking she was going to a computer class at the Senior Citizens building. So it came as a huge surprise when she opened the door & saw her big family yelling surprise & sing Happy Birthday to her. We all ate dinner after that & then a small program was put on in her honor. Her sisters spoke of memories of her growing up, & other family members spoke on behalf of the grandkids & kids. I haven't seen her that happy since the love of her life passed away two yrs ago. The best part of the night came when a very special letter was read to our family & Grammy. A week before the surprise party my Aunt Tony sat down & wrote a letter from Poppy. This was the second letter that Grammy has gotten from "him." Aunt Tony wrote this letter feeling his special spirit so strongly & guiding her to say just the right things. It was beautiful! We all just cried! Thanks Aunt Tony...... and Poppy!
