Brightyn Turned 6mnths Old Yesterday!

Oh my gosh! People are not kidding you when they tell you not to blink because time flies by sooooo fast. I'm so happy in ways because she gets more fun by the minute but it makes me sad at the same time because soon she won't be my baby... she will be a little girl. I try so hard every day to just treasure every second with her. She makes me laugh so hard sometimes I cry. Who knew that a baby could be so entertaining. She is doing so many things:

*She pushes straight up on her arms but hasn't gotten the legs in movement with it yet to crawl. I know it will be soon. She's a smarty pants.

* She loves to eat her banana's, sweet potatoes, peaches, and applesauce but she hates her peas. She gagged and cried when I gave them to her. Poor thing. Needless to say we got rid of them.

*She is sitting up good right now but slouches over a little still. She isn't wobbly any more just needs to get a little more confident. I know she will have it down in no time to perfection!

*She loves to be on her tummy. She will play like that for a long time. She loves to push her legs and chest up in the air like a seal. It's pretty funny to watch. She makes all kinds of noises when she does it.

*She rolls all over. I find her rolled over in her crib all the time now on her tummy. She is so fast doing it.

*She is curious about everything. Anything in sight she has to touch, grab & eat. Oh my gosh this girl has to taste everything she touches. My mom says she has never seen a baby that has to put everything in there mouth like Brightyn does. She has been like this for a long time now. She is going to be a hoot at Xmas with her presents and wrapping paper. I can't wait!

*Bri can be a major drama queen. She has mommy's temper (Thanks Grandpa Fox. Hehe!). She can bring on the tears and her spunk at the drop of a dime. If she wants something or needs a change she will let you know. She has such a cute personality already...

*She gives mommy and daddy tight squeezes and hugs all the time now. She has for a while. She also is into giving Mommy sloppy kisses on my cheek. She will wrap her arms around my neck and pull my head in and kiss my cheek. Priceless!! It melts my heart! Best kisses ever!

*She is becoming quite the chatter box already. I am in trouble when she starts to talk. She will lay in her crib in the morning and after naps for quite a while when she wakes up and just entertain herself by babbling her head off. She loves her voice. Her newest word is "Ba Ba."

*She is into pulling off her bows and headbands and eating them. I constantly find them down in her face or in her mouth. Oh man... I hope she grows out of that and leaves them on her head. They look just to dang cute on her! Luckily her hair is growing in longer... slowly but surely.

*Depending on her mood... she either likes strangers or she doesn't. I went to pic up her Xmas pics the other day and the lady behind the counter said hi to her and she freaked out. I hope this doesn't last long. Most the time she is fine but beware otherwise. She is also a little iffy about the vacuum now. If you catch her off guard with it she will start to shake and cry.

*Brightyn loves, loves, loves the mirror! She could sit or stand in front of it for hours and entertain herself. Anytime she needs a little cheering up we just put her in front of the mirror.

Sorry for such a long post of reading. I just needed to catch up and I know that there are things I am still leaving out. I can add them later in a post if I did. I just love this little Girl! She is the light of our lives! I am so blessed to be able to stay home and take care of her. Everyday is something new and so precious!
